The features include; Gtalk which allows you to communicate with other Gmail users, if you have an account you will be automatically signed on Google plus. Another great feature is you will be able to view your attachments without leaving Gmail. Steps of signing in to Gmail

Gmail sign in is an easy process

  1. Go to Gmail official website or click here. Once the results are displayed click on ‘Gmail Sign in’ you will be directed to the sign in page.
  2. Once the sign in page opens, enter your email address
  3. Enter your password.

There are times that you will experience trouble signing in to Gmail especially if you don’t remember your password. In an event that you will have forgotten your password you can easily set up a new password by; clicking on ‘need help’ tab on your Gmail sign in page. You will be directed to a new page. On the page you will see three options choose the option ‘I don’t know my password’ .You will be required to enter you email address. You can either enter the email address that you use while signing in or another email address that is associated to your account. You will be directed to a new page where you will be required to enter the last password that you remember. Enter the password if you remember it and click continue or click I don’t know tab.

You will be prompted to reset your password. There will be two options that you can choose from. The first option will be to get a verification code on your mobile number (this is the mobile number you used when creating an account). You will receive an SMS on your phone with the code. The second option is sending a confirmation email to your recovery email address. The first option is recommended. Click on continue

  • Once you receive the verification code you will be required to enter it on the spaces provide to reset your password
  • Enter the code and click on continue. You will be directed to a new page where you will be required to choose a new password
  • Confirm the password.
  • Click on reset  password.
  • Click on sign.

If you are not using shared computer you can click on the ‘stay signed tab’ every time you sign in you will be automatically be taken to your home page. However remember that the option is only valid for 2 weeks.
